The Challenge
Home Prive is a house exchange app within trusted networks: users can only see properties if they know the host directly (or indirectly). A private and secure alternative to platforms like Airbnb, based on personal relationships and visibility control. The main challenge was to launch a functional MVP in less than 4 months, combining privacy, design and a mobile-first experience. The app had to allow users to register by invitation, explore private properties, request access and chat within the network—all with an elegant and easy-to-use interface.
Our Approach
From Citrus we accompanied the founding team from the beginning, helping to transform their vision into a clear, functional and scalable MVP. We designed an intuitive, mobile-first interface with simple flows for registration, exploration of private properties and access requests based on trust networks. We prioritized the implementation of key functionalities such as contact synchronization, the degrees visibility system and internal chat, all on a modular architecture ready to grow with the product.

Results
We managed to launch a functional MVP in less than 4 months, meeting the initial project objectives and validating the first key flows with real users. The interface offered smooth navigation, intuitive usage logic and a presentation consistent with the brand's value proposition. Thanks to a well-structured design system, both in Figma and in the code, the team was able to iterate quickly and maintain visual consistency throughout the product. The project architecture was prepared to integrate new functionalities such as payments, reputation or synchronization with external platforms without needing to redesign from scratch.
